My bar soap used to sit in a puddle and turn to mush, but this bamboo dish drains it perfectly with those little holes. It feels sturdy and I love that it’s compostable when I’m finally done with it.
My old plastic dish always left a gross puddle under the soap, but this one drains so fast the bar actually dries out between uses. Knowing it's made from bamboo and corn starch and will compost at the end of its life makes me feel way better about the swap.
The bamboo texture feels smooth and natural, and the corn starch base gives it a sturdier build than I expected from a compostable dish. Water drains off so quickly that my soap bar isn’t sitting in a puddle anymore. It’s already paid for itself by making my last bar last twice as long.
